Overview
Claripose is Multigate's waterproof transparent island dressing: a breathable waterproof film with a central low-adherent absorbent pad, supplied sterile in individual peel pouches. The clear film lets clinicians inspect the wound without disturbing the dressing, while its waterproof barrier keeps out water and contaminants — patients can shower with confidence.
The 6.5 × 5 cm size suits small post-operative wounds, lacerations, biopsy sites and cannula dressings. The frame-style application system helps the film go down smoothly without wrinkles or stuck edges, even with gloves on.

Yes — the transparent film is waterproof, so brief showers are fine. Advise patients to pat the edges dry and avoid soaking or scrubbing the dressing.
How long can it stay on?
Depending on exudate and clinical judgement, transparent island dressings are typically left in place for up to 7 days, or changed sooner if the pad is saturated or the seal lifts.
Is it sterile?
Yes — each dressing is individually packed in a sterile peel pouch, suitable for aseptic wound care technique.
