Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of the JV Medical website and your purchase of products from JV Medical (ABN 14 764 467 952). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Products and intended use

  • Our products are supplied for use by qualified practitioners, clinics and businesses. It is your responsibility to ensure a product is appropriate for your intended clinical use and used in accordance with relevant professional standards.
  • Product images are illustrative; minor variations in appearance may occur between batches.

2. Pricing and GST

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. The GST component is itemised on your tax invoice.
  • Prices may change without notice, but you will always be charged the price displayed at the time you place your order.
  • If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch.

3. Orders and payment

  • An order is an offer to purchase. We accept it when we confirm and dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel orders (for example, stock unavailability or suspected fraud) and will refund any amount paid.
  • Payment is processed securely by eWAY at checkout. We do not store your card details.
  • Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively.

4. Delivery

We deliver within Western Australia as described in our shipping policy: free delivery on orders of $150 or more to serviced areas, flat $15 otherwise, and by arrangement for regional/remote WA. Delivery timeframes are estimates and delays by carriers are occasionally outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes on payment in full.

5. Returns and faulty goods

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unopened items, with hygiene exclusions, as set out in our returns policy. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — for major failures you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

6. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
  • We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms or for unlawful activity.

7. Website content and intellectual property

  • Content on this site (text, images, logos and design) is owned by or licensed to JV Medical and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.
  • Product information and blog articles are general guidance only and are not a substitute for professional training or manufacturer instructions.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and other than liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising out of the supply of goods is limited to the replacement of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, or the refund of the price paid.

9. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
  • We may update these terms from time to time; the current version applies to new orders.
