Overview
When a procedure can splash, your eyes need the same protection as your airway. The Detmold Level 3 visor mask integrates a full-width, anti-fog clear visor onto a 4-ply Level 3 surgical mask, giving single-step splash protection for mouth, nose and eyes — no separate goggles to fog, slip or misplace.
Head ties allow the fit to be adjusted precisely and worn comfortably over caps, while the fluid-resistant multi-layer construction meets AS 4381:2015 Level 3 with ≥98% bacterial filtration efficiency and splash resistance to 160 mmHg. Ideal for wound irrigation, minor surgery, dental and any procedure with spray potential.

When should a visor mask be used instead of a standard mask?
Whenever there is a foreseeable risk of splash or spray toward the face — wound irrigation, incision and drainage, dental procedures, catheter care. The visor removes the need for separate protective eyewear.
Does the visor fog up?
The shield is treated to minimise fogging, and the sealed top edge of the 4-ply mask reduces exhaled air escaping upward — the main cause of fogging with separate goggles.
Why head ties rather than ear loops?
Head ties let you set the tension yourself, sit comfortably during longer procedures, and hold the extra weight of the visor more securely than ear loops.
Is it TGA registered?
Yes — included on the TGA Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, ARTG 337503.
