Overview
The ProtectON Basic Dressing Pack #2 is designed for gentle application and optimal absorbency. Alongside the sterile field, tray, towel and forceps it adds five soft non-woven cotton balls to two gauze swabs — the configuration clinicians reach for with sensitive skin and versatile wound-care needs.
Like the whole ProtectON range, each pack is sterile, single use and assembled to support aseptic technique, with a 3-compartment dressing tray made with 5% recycled material.

Do these packs support aseptic technique?
Yes. Each pack is sterile and assembled so the field, tray, forceps and swabs can be opened and arranged without touching sterile surfaces — supporting standard aseptic non-touch technique for wound care and routine procedures while saving valuable set-up time.
What's the difference between Basic Dressing Pack #1 and #2?
Pack #1 carries six gauze swabs — the all-gauze configuration for routine dressing changes. Pack #2 swaps four of those swabs for five soft non-woven cotton balls, giving a gentler, more absorbent option for sensitive skin. Field, tray, towel and forceps are identical in both.
